Aston Villa eye replacements for Remi Garde after French boss threatens to quit
ASTON VILLA are already lining up candidates to replace Remi Garde, according to reports.
Remi Garde has threatened to quit Aston Villa
Express Sport understands that Garde could quit Villa in the summer, after being unhappy with the club's failure to sign any players in the transfer window.
Villa are rock bottom of the Premier League and 10 points from safety with relegation to the Championship almost a certainty.
The Daily Mirror report that Villa are now considering alternatives to Garde, if the French boss follows through with his quit threat.
Ayew will miss three games after deliberately elbowing Aaron Cresswell in the first half at Upton Park last and with Libor Kozak and Rudy Gestede currently injured, Gabby Agbonlahor is the club's only fit senior striker.
Agbonlahor has hardly featured for Villa during Garde's miserable tenure and he was linked with a move out of Villa Park in January.
The 29-year-old has only featured 10 times this season and has failed to score a single goal.
