Agent wades in on Leeds United deal over striker
MIRCO ANTENUCCI'S agent insists the striker is happy at Leeds United amid speculation he tried to force through a move on deadline day.
Mirco Antenucci reportedly wanted to leave Leeds during the winter transfer window
Antenucci, 31, was reportedly close to leaving the West Yorkshire club on Monday.
It is understood he told Leeds officials he wanted to move back to Italy, where his wife has just given birth to their second child.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino reportedly held talks with Antenucci's representatives over the weekend but Leeds refused to do business unless they found a replacement striker.
They made a £300,000 bid for Barnsley frontman Sam Winnall, which was rejected by the Tykes, but are said to be considering an emergency loan for Norwich striker Kyle Lafferty.
