Liverpool deadline day update: Reds' striker bid rejected
LIVERPOOL have rejected Jerome Sinclair's move to Watford.
Jerome Sinclair's move to Watford has been rejected
The Reds want £3million for the out-of contract striker - according to the Daily Mail.
But the Hornets have been trying to negotiate a lower fee for the 19-year-old.
Sinclair looks set to leave Anfield after failing to agree a new deal.
Manchester City were linked with a move earlier this month but Watford have been pushing to get it down before tonight's deadline.
However unless they stump up the cash now it looks like they'll have to compete with City in the summer.
Sinclair is Liverpool's youngest ever player but has been frustrated with limited chances this season.
He spent a period on loan at Wigan last term and expected to break through under Brendan Rodgers.
