Appointing Ryan Giggs as Man Utd manager would be a ‘horrific’ decision - Stan Collymore
STAN COLLYMORE has urged Manchester United not to appoint Ryan Giggs as their next manager.
Ryan Giggs could be appointed as United's next manager
Louis van Gaal has come under mounting pressure this term for his side’s bland style of football.
Jose Mourinho has widely been tipped to succeed the beleaguered Dutchman, while Pep Guardiola held talks with United officials in a hotel in Paris last week.
Though Giggs, who has spent over 25 years at Old Trafford, is seen as a future United manager, Collymore thinks it would be wrong to hand him the job now.
“Like Ryan Giggs, Pep Guardiola was a legend at his club Barcelona with aspirations to go into management," Collymore wrote in his column for the Daily Mirror.
