EXPRESS SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news coming from the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger says he doesn't need another striker
Hull boss Steve Bruce has confirmed he hopes to bring Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell to the KC Stadium before the January window closes.
"Yes, he's somebody who interests us. I've liked Nick from the first time I saw him when he played for Crewe,” the Tigers boss said.
“Whether we can get something over the line is debatable, but we're trying.”
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has played down speculation linking Arsenal with a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Javier Hernandez, insisting he does not need to sign a striker this month.
"No (there's nothing in it)," the Gunners manager said when pressed on a potential move for Hernandez.
"We have (Danny) Welbeck coming back and (Alexis) Sanchez is back and we have an (Olivier) Giroud and (Theo) Walcott. We have quality and the number of players we need."
