Spotted: Andros Townsend drives away from Tottenham on way to Newcastle
ANDROS TOWNSEND is heading to Newcastle to complete a £12million move from Tottenham.
Townsend will join Newcastle before the end of the month
The 24-year-old has been with the club since the age of nine although he has played for nine other clubs out on loan.
And the England international has not appeared for Spurs since October after falling out with fitness coach Nathan Gardiner.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino subsequently dropped him from the first-team squad and he has had to make do with under-21 football since.

Newcastle had earlier this month had a £10m bid rejected for Townsend as chairman Daniel Levy was holding out for £14m.
However, Pochettino personally intervened to get the improved £12m bid accepted as he is keen to free up space to bring another player into his squad before the transfer window ends.
Express Sport understands Townsend will now sign a five-and-a-half-year deal in the next 48 hours when personal terms have been agreed.
