Tottenham braced for massive injury blow as club line up deal for international star
JAN VERTONGHEN could be out for the rest of the season with ligament damage, according to reports.
Jange Pa Modou (right) has attracted interest from Spurs, as Vertonghen awaits his scan results
Centre-back Vertonghen limped off midway through the second half of Tottenham's 3-1 win at Crystal Palace last weekend.
He will undergo a scan today to assess the damage, with reports claiming he could be ruled out for up to 12 weeks.
But the Daily Star claim Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is determined to push that price even lower, with Modou entering the last six months of his contract.
The Sion captain could leave for free in the summer, with the Swiss club forced to deliberate whether or not to cash in on him now.
