Bundesliga club confirm talks underway with Chelsea over defender
WERDER BREMEN have confirmed talks are underway between them and Chelsea over defender Papy Djilobodji.
Papy Djilobodji has featured just once for Chelsea
The Senegalese international joined the Blues in the summer but has played just one minute of football against Walsall in September in the Capital One Cup.
Former manager Jose Mourinho even admitted he had no prior knowledge of the player before he was signed.
He said: "It was not my choice. It was the choice of someone I trust completely, which is the same. I don’t know every player.
"My job doesn’t allow me to travel and spend hours watching players. In some moments of the market, under certain circumstances, there are moments when you have to trust or not the people you work with."

And it now appears Djilobodji will leave Stamford Bridge this month, albeit on loan.
Bremen's sporting director Thomas Eichin told German newspaper Kreiszeitung Syke: "We are in negotiations."
Besiktas, Espanyol, Marseille and Stuttgart have also been linked with the 27-year-old.
