Fans react to Manchester United's 'new signing' during Newcastle draw
MIKE DEAN has been labelled Manchester United's 'new signing' after the referee gave them a 1-0 lead from the penalty spot against Newcastle.
Mike Dean came him for some criticism on Twitter from fans tonight
The game ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw in the end with a late goal form Paul Dummett levelling things up on the 90th minute.
However, Newcastle fans were less impressed by United's opening goal - a soft penalty awarded after Chancel Mbemba was adjudged to have handled in the area.
Wayne Rooney gratefully stepped up to fire the visitors into the lead, but angry fans took to Twitter to lambaste the official.
