Mark Hughes dismisses idea of Stoke suffering from complacency in Premier League this term
STOKE manager Mark Hughes insists his players have not been guilty of complacency when suffering unanticipated slip-ups this season.
Mark Hughes' Stoke have won eight of their last 14 league games
The Potters, 10th in the Premier League, have enjoyed some notable victories against major opposition this term, beating Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
But they have also lost a number of games they might have expected to win, with the likes of West Brom, Watford and Crystal Palace all triumphing at the Britannia Stadium.
They host Norwich on Wednesday night and Hughes said: "I don't think it's through complacency or underestimating the challenge of different teams.
"We know every Premier League game gives you problems and you have to have the answers."
