Club chief discusses deal for Manchester United midfield flop
AC MILAN chief Adriano Galliani has ruled out Marouane Fellaini joining the club in January.
Marouane Fellaini has made 18 appearances in all competitions for United this season
Fellaini has had a difficult time at Old Trafford since arriving in 2013 under David Moyes, with poor form leading to criticism from supporters.
But while Galliani admitted being a fan of Fellaini, he denied Milan are close to signing him.
"Fellaini is a player I like, I have always liked him, but there is no way he is joining Milan," Galliani told Mediaset Premium.
Midfielder Marouane Fellaini's career progression so far
"I can only deny that Fellaini is close to Milan. We already have seven players in midfield. If nobody leaves in that area, we will not sign anyone.
"We are well stocked in all areas. It is very unlikely we will make any signings unless someone leaves."
