Liverpool News: Man Utd target approached, Sturridge injury setback, Benteke given orders
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest news from Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp has postponed Daniel Sturridge's injury return
Liverpool have made contact with Galatasaray over the availability of Uruguay international goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, according to reports.
Manchester United previously enquired about the 29-year-old over the summer and were quoted a fee in the region of £35million.
However, Turkish publication Kralspor claim the Reds are now leading the charge to sign the keeper.
Christian Benteke has also been on the receiving end of some harsh words from Klopp, telling him to 'run more'.
"I think I have to run more and I have to be there for my team-mates,” Benteke admitted.
“I spoke with the manager a few days ago about where I can improve and what he is expecting from me. We had a good conversation."
