Confirmed: Boss thrilled as Man Utd defender signs extension
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Donald Love has extended his stay at Wigan.
Donald Love extends Wigan loan until January
The 21-year-old initially joined Wigan in October on a two-month loan deal, but will now remain at the League One outfit until January.
A club statement read: "Wigan Athletic can confirm that Scotland Under 21 international defender Donald Love has extended his loan deal from Manchester United until 7 January."
And Latics boss Gary Caldwell is thrilled to retain the services of the versatile defender, who's made five appearances this term.
“Donald was unlucky because he had been doing well prior to getting injured and he adds great competition on the right hand side," Caldwell said.

"He’s a young player who’s still learning the game and his attitude has been terrific since being with the group.”
The Scotland Under-21 international has recently returned to training after a month on the sidelines with a quad strain.
