Agent ends Liverpool’s hopes of signing international goalkeeper in January
DIEGO LOPEZ will not leave AC Milan in January, according to his agent.
Diego Lopez won't leave AC Milan in January
The goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A club in January after losing his first-team place to 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Reports in Italy have suggested Liverpool are keen on signing Lopez during the winter window as Jurgen Klopp looks to replace Simon Mignolet between the sticks.
The Reds are reportedly prepared to include striker Mario Balotelli - who is currently on loan at Milan from Anfield - in any deal.
However, his representative has moved quickly to quash speculation linking the 34-year-old stopper with a San Siro exit.

Speaking to Calciomeracto, Manuel Garcia Quilon said: “Will Diego Lopez leave Milan? I don’t think so. In January he won’t move, and I don’t understand why there’s all this talk of his imminent goodbye.”
Liverpool are also reportedly interested in goalkeepers Bernd Leno and Timo Horn of Bayer Leverkusen and Cologne, respectively.
