PSG are determined to land Ronaldo and are prepared to offer him a staggering £250,000-a-week contract after tax.
That is according to the Daily Mirror, who claim the Portugal striker will be handed the big-money contract as a carrot for rejecting United.
President Nasser Al-Khelaifi immediately moved to sign £44m winger Angel Di Maria from United last summer when UEFA lifted their spending embargoes on the Ligue 1 champions.
And it is understood Real would want around £60m for their star Ronaldo.
As for United, their top earner, Wayne Rooney, currently picks up £300,000 each week before tax is deducted.
Rooney is the highest-paid player in the Premier League, with Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure on £240,000 for seven days work.
