Club confirm surgery for Liverpool star's 'persistent injury' ahead of February return
AC MILAN have confirmed Mario Balotelli will undergo surgery tomorrow.

The Italy international, currently on loan from Liverpool, has not featured since Milan's 1-0 defeat to Genoa in September.
San Siro boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has refused to put a timeframe on the striker's return, but reports in Italy suggest he could be out of action for three months.
And now the Rossoneri have announced the 25-year-old will travel to Munich tomorrow to go under the knife.
"AC Milan can confirm that Mario Balotelli will have surgery to correct a persistent groin injury tomorrow in Munich, Germany," read a club statement.

"The injury has been ongoing for weeks and conservative treatment has not had the desired effect. The operation will be conducted by Professor Ulrike Muschaweck."
Balotelli has scored just one goal in Serie A appearances on his return to Milan.
