The Portuguese manager has come under criticism in recent weeks following Chelsea's poor start to the season.
Earlier this week, Mourinho was handed a £40,000 fine and a one-match stadium ban by the FA following his behaviour against West Ham last month.
Owner Roman Abramovich is showing patience in the 52-year-old for now, but it's understood that if the fans turn against, him he could be sacked.

The Russian owner has reportedly held talks with a minority shareholder for Monaco
The Russian billionaire will have to pay Mourinho a world record £37.5million if he decides to sack him with the former Real Madrid boss only signing a four-year deal in the summer.
But latest reports suggest Abramovich has met with a minority shareholder for the Ligue 1 outfit to discuss a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Alessandro Proto, an Italian businessman, claims to have held talks with Abramovich in London but was told to pay €100m (£71m) if they want to secure Mourinho's services.
