Arsenal scout Tottenham target after club confirm Liverpool's £11m interest
ARSENAL have entered the race to sign Schalke winger Leroy Sane.
Arsenal want Schalke winger Leroy Sane
That is according to the Daily Star, who claim Arsene Wenger sent his scouts to watch him during the Europa League clash with Sparta Prague on Thursday night.
The 19-year-old, who was demoted to the bench, came off after an hour at the Gelsenkirchen to find the back of the net in a 2-2 stalemate.
The Gunners' scouts were impressed by the Germany Under-21 international, who was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer.
Sane rejected the chance to join Liverpool in an £11million move, while Tottenham were believed to have had an £8.5m bid rejected by Schalke.

Club director Horst Heldt revealed earlier this month: "There has been one or more prestigious clubs that contacted us about Sane.
"Liverpool were ready to pay the money for him but this offer didn't interest the player. I am really concerned about losing him, Leroy can have a great career ahead of him."
