Man Utd learned from mistakes against Arsenal and defence will be key to title challenge
MANCHESTER UNITED will need to solidify their defence if they are going to have a serious tilt at the title.

That is the view of former Liverpool favourite Jamie Redknapp.
United erased the memories of a 3-0 defeat away to Arsenal before the international break by beating Everton by the same scoreline on Saturday.
And Redknapp thinks United can challenge for the title as long as they keep it tight at the back.
"Manchester United were so impressive at Everton but that win was about their back four more than anything else," Redknapp wrote in his column for The Daily Mail.
"Against Arsenal Louis van Gaal got it badly wrong. Ashley Young and Daley Blind started at the back and even though they are good players, they are not natural defenders.
"If they had played on Saturday Romelu Lukaku would have eaten them up.

"But Van Gaal realised his mistake and went back to Chris Smalling and Phil Jones. They relished the battle.
"And with Marcus Rojo and Matteo Darmian, Van Gaal had a proper defensive unit.
"With the money they've spent and the players they have, United are more than capable of winning the league. And with the Manchester derby up next week, they have to build that challenge around a solid defence."
