Agent confirms Barcelona hero will make Manchester United move in January
VICTOR VALDES' agent has added further weight to reports that his client will join Newcastle in January.
Victor Valdes Player Profile
The former Barcelona goalkeeper has been cast aside by Louis van Gaal following a falling out with the Dutchman over his 'philosophy'.
"Valdes was not selected [for the pre-season tour] because he doesn't follow my philosophy. The philosophy is how you play football and how you maintain your match rhythm," Van Gaal said.
Victor Valdes' agent believes he will leave Manchester United in January
And the 33-year-old has since trained away from the rest of the first-team squad and is no longer allowed his own locker at United's training ground.
However, reports have suggested the Spaniard could be on Newcastle's radar following Tim Krul's season-ending injury.
The Netherlands keeper damaged his anterior cruciate ligament whilst away on international duty, and Valdes will reportedly be their short-term fix.
And this has all but been confirmed by his agent Gines Carvajal who has admitted his client will leave Old Trafford - but not for a La Liga return.

"I'm sure [he will leave the club in January], I'm ready for it. It's clear he has to leave and we'll try to make sure he's happy and feels comfortable," he told AS Diario.
"In my personal opinion he won't come to Spain, unless he says something different. He had the chance to join Valencia but having played for Barcelona it is complicated."
