Revealed: The £75m trio Arsenal failed to buy after holding talks (including Man Utd star)
ARSENAL tried and failed to sign three players from Monaco over the summer.
Anthony Martial - Spotlight on
Arsene Wenger struggled in his attempts to sign an outfield player during the off-season, with goalkeeper Petr Cech the only arrival at the Emirates.
And now Get French Football News have revealed the details of the Gunners' lack of business.
Wenger reportedly held talks with Monaco in June to discuss the availability of midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, left-back Layvin Kurzawa and striker Anthony Martial.
The Gunners boss spoke with Kondogbia himself, but was put off by the Frenchman's transfer fee and he instead joined Inter Milan for a hefty £25million in June.
