MANCHESTER UNITED have set their sights on Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The 21-year-old stopper is currently out on loan at Championship outfit Preston, where United have sent scouts to track his progress.
Pickford, who is rated very highly at Sunderland, has featured at every youth level for England from Under-16s to Under-21s.
Tottenham and Aston Villa were reportedly keen on signing Pickford this summer, but the Black Cats were reluctant to sell.
And now, according to the Daily Star, United have entered the race despite already having David De Gea, Sergio Romero, Sam Johnstone and Victor Valdes.
