Revealed: Why Jurgen Klopp ruled out Bayern Munich to become new Liverpool manager
JURGEN KLOPP is keen to succeed Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager because Bayern Munich reportedly told him he would have to wait until January to find out if he could replace Pep Guardiola.

It was previously suggested the German was holding out for the top job in the Bundesliga, with Guardiola's future beyond the end of the current season at the Allianz Arena uncertain.
However, the Bundesliga giants gave the former Borussia Dortmund chief no guarantees and the Daily Telegraph claim they are keen to extend Guardiola's contract after it expires at the end of the campaign.
Klopp was understood to be under consideration as a possible successor because of his exploits with Dortmund - he won the Bundesliga twice and led the club to the Champions League final which they lost to Bayern.
But it is said he was not prepared to wait until January, only to be disappointed with the news that the current boss has extended his stay.

The 48-year-old is now all set for Anfield and the appointment could be announced by the end of the week after discussions continued over a three-year deal.
Klopp is set to be offered a package significantly more lucrative than the £3.6million he earned in his former job.
He spoke for the first time yesterday, refusing to rule out taking the reins and appeared to confirm that talks had been had between Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group and his own representatives.
