The decision came after the Reds' 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park today.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp has been out of the game since the summer, when he failed to qualify for the Champions League with the club.
The 48-year-old had previously managed Mainz and boasts two Bundesliga titles, the German Cup and a Champions League runners-up medal to his name.
But Italian Carlo Ancelotti is also in the running for the post.
Ancelotti owns one of the most reputable trophy cabinets in football management, having won league titles in Italy, England, France and Spain.
