In a recent fan poll conducted by The Sun, 85 per cent of readers have labelled Costa as the league's biggest villain.
The Chelsea ace was slammed by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for his behaviour that resulted in Gabriel Paulista being sent off on Saturday.
TV replays showed the 26-year-old swinging an arm and putting his hands in Laurent Koscielny’s face before Gabriel stepped in.
And as the scuffle continued at the halfway line, Paulista was then given a straight red after flicking a foot into Costa.

Fuming Gunners boss Wenger has called for action to be taken against Costa.
"The referee let it go and I don't know why," he said. "I would like them to take action.
"I would like them, especially Dean, to look at the whole action and see if he stands by his decisions."
Costa will find out on Monday if he will face a retrospective ban if the incident is referred to the FA.
