The Blues thrashed Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 tonight as they bounced back from the disappointment of their 3-1 reverse away to Everton last weekend.
Fabregas got on the scoresheet and made an assist as the Blues sent out an ominous warning to their European rivals.
Jose Mourinho's side were the only British representative to win their opening Champions League group game this week.
Fabregas told BT Sport: "The players were feeling it, like every big club we need results and performances.
"We were dominant and hopefully that is the start of a big run."
The Blues host Arsenal on Saturday in the Premier League (12:45pm).
