And following Arsene Wenger's failure in the transfer window and the long-term injury to Danny Welbeck, many have questioned where the goals will come from.
However, Henry hopes he can inspire the young strikers at the club in his new position as a coach, and admits he's glad to be back in the Gunners 'family'.
He said: "I want to try to give back what I've learned and pass on advice. It is also for me to learn and see how to prepare a training session, be a coach.

"Hopefully what I say to the kids is going to help them. They respect what you have done [as a player] but you need to talk sense if what you say is going to have an impact on their career or [their performance] on the day.
"Arsenal is a family and you never really leave. It will always be in me and it's nice to be working with the younger players. I am very happy with that."
