That is according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim Fiorentina will look to take the France international on loan with an option to buy.
La Viola were reportedly keen on Zouma during the summer window, but decided against a move following the saga regarding Mohamed Salah.
Fiorentina had a deal in place to sign Salah on a permanent deal after his loan move but Chelsea instead opted to farm him out again to Roma.
And should Zouma agree a switch to the Stadio Artemio Franchi, he'll become the sixth Blues star out in Italy.
The Blues already have Wallace (Carpi), Nathaniel Chalobah (Napoli), Juan Cuadrado (Juventus), Salah (Roma) and Stipe Perica (Udinese Calcio) currently out there.
But it's unlikely the club will allow Zouma to leave Stamford Bridge, with boss Jose Mourinho continuing to show his faith in the 20-year-old centre-half.
