But the 24-year-old's scoring prowess is dwarfed by the two players considered the best in the world.
Barcelona star Messi netted 58 times in 57 appearances last term, while Ronaldo notched up a massive 61 strikes in 54 games.
Ronaldo also has previous in the Premier League, with the Manchester United legend enjoying his most prolific season (31 goals) in 2007-08.

Hazard was named the PFA Player of the Year, the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the year and Chelsea's Player of the Year in the last campaign.
Despite that, he is not confident of ever matching the pair's impressive exploits.

"I often ask myself what I can do to become like Messi and Ronaldo and score 50 or 60 goals in a season," he said.
"I try of course but I realise that I will never be a true scorer. It's not in me. It is mainly mental.
"At 2-0, not thinking that is enough for example. Sometimes I still think after a goal, 'that's enough."
