Chelsea prepare to complete another transfer deal as deadline day looms
CHELSEA midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is tipped for a return move Reading on loan.
Chelsea's Nathaniel Chalobah could be heading back to Reading on loan
The midfielder, 20, is expected to depart the Stamford Bridge club as manager Jose Mourinho trims his squad ahead of deadline day.
He was wanted by Watford earlier in the transfer window but no move materialised.
And it is believed he will now head back to the Madjeski Stadium after manager Steve Clarke made him a prime target, the Reading Chronicle report.
Chalobah made 24 appearances for Reading last season and started all three of England's group games at the Under 21 European Championships this summer.
It was hoped he would get game time in Mourinho's first team this season but the manager has moved to bolster his midfield through new recruits.
Mourinho signed Barcelona winger Pedro this summer in a £21.4million deal, while also bringing in defender Baba Rahman to shore up the back line.
