Juventus confirm deal for Chelsea star will never happen
JUVENTUS have confirmed they will not make a bid for Chelsea midfielder Oscar.
Juventus says they will not be bidding for Chelsea's Oscar
The Brazil international had been linked with a move to the Serie A side this summer.
And the loss of Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich made Juve's need for a new midfielder even more urgent.
However, director general Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed the 23-year-old is not the 'trequartista' the club are looking for.
He told Italian publication Quotidiano Sportivo: "A trequartista? We are looking for a midfielder numerically, not with any specific qualities.
Unfortunately they aren't ours and we will never sign them
"But they must fit in a midfield which includes Pogba, Marchisio, Khedira and Roberto Pereyra.
"Dybala could play as a trequartista. Isco and Oscar are two players who aren't extraordinary, but they would add to Juventus.
