TOTTENHAM are set to increase their interest in Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.

While Hernandez has returned to Old Trafford after spending last season on loan at Real Madrid, the 27-year-old's future remains uncertain.
And the Daily Mirror report that Tottenham are ready to step up their efforts to sign the Mexican as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Spurs striker is expected to complete a season-long loan move to Aston Villa imminently.
And once the move is confirmed, Tottenham will be ready to intensify their efforts to sign Hernandez.
