Tottenham plotting £8m swoop to sign Manchester United star striker
TOTTENHAM are planning an £8million swoop to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports.
Tottenham are reportedly considering a move to sign Javier Hernandez
Hernandez spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, but Van Gaal has recently insisted the Mexico international has a future at Old Trafford.
"I have long-term expectations but you never know in this football world," he said.
"But yes, normally I have long-term expectations of Javier Hernandez."
However, an offer for the striker, who was considered to be surplus to requirements last term, could be too good to resist for United.
And Tottenham are said to be considering a move for Hernandez as he is one of several striker targets they want to link up with Harry Kane, according to The Sun.
