Confirmed: Aston Villa snap up Ghana striker Jordan Ayew from Lorient
ASTON Villa have confirmed the signing of Jordan Ayew from French side Lorient for an undisclosed fee.

The Ghana international has completed a five-year deal that sees him follow his brother - Andre who signed for Swansea this summer - to the Premier League.
Jordan Ayew had been linked with a move to Anfield in the summer.
Manager Tim Sherwood said: "I'm really pleased to bring Jordan to the football club.
"He is a fantastic young player who is perfectly suited to the Premier League."
Villa have also reportedly agreed a deal for Cordoba full-back Jose Angel Crespo who is travelling to England to undergo a medical today.

Sherwood has been searching for a striker since Christian Benteke completed his £32.5m move to Liverpool last week which also saw midfielder Fabian Delph move to Manchester City.
The Villa boss hasn't finished looking to bolster his attacking options yet however with the club reportedly interested in Liverpool flop Fabio Borini.
