Louis van Gaal warned he'll fail to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo at Man Utd this summer
MANCHESTER UNITED will struggle to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, according to Spanish football expert Graham Hunter.

Manchester Evening News claim United are working on a sensational deal to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford this summer.
However, Hunter is doubtful that Real will decide to sell the forward, who has been the club's top goalscorer for the past six seasons.
I don’t see how it is going to happen
He also reckons that the Portugal captain will snub a return due to United's Champions League play-off fixture.
“In the last two seasons Ronaldo scored 112 goals for Real Madrid - there is no strategy to replace him,” Hunter said on the speculation.
“If they are saying ‘no’ to Sergio Ramos leaving, how do you think Perez is going to react to Ronaldo [asking to leave]? I don’t see how it is going to happen.

“More than that, Manchester should be in the Champions League next season but they face a play-off and that play-off finishes four, five days before the market closes.
“Is Ronaldo the type of player to say 'I would love to go back to Manchester United so much, even without Alex Ferguson, if there is any possibility of me ending up in the Europa League?' I’d say no.”
