And Mourinho told Sky Sports: "If one of our players in a specific position wants to leave, we agree a deal for a player to leave and we have to answer immediately and bring in somebody else, because at the moment we have balance in the squad and we cannot lose that."
Mourinho has also distanced himself from a move for Paul Pogba.
Juventus are demanding £70m for the 22-year-old midfielder.
He said: "I love the Eiffel Tower but I can't have the Eiffel Tower in my garden. I can't even have the Eiffel Tower of Las Vegas."
Chelsea will have to rethink their plans for Paul Pogba
The Blues are also prepared to sanction the departure of Juan Cuadrado.
Cuadrado failed to set the Premier League alight last term.
And The Guardian claim the Blues won't accept anything less than £26m for the winger.
