Southampton keeper Fraser Forster may miss entire season through injury
SOUTHAMPTON and England goalkeeper Fraser Forster could miss all of this season through injury, according to reports.
Fraser Forster could miss the whole of this season
Forster has been sidelined since sustaining a horror knee injury during Southampton's clash against Burnley in March.
The 27-year-old former Celtic stopper needed major surgery as a result.
And while medics originally thought Forster would be out for between nine and 12 months, The Sun claim he may not be fit until next summer.
He may not be fit for England's remaining Euro 2016 qualifiers as a result.
The injury delay to Forster will come as a massive blow to Saints boss Ronald Koeman. However, the Dutchman did bring in Fulham keeper Maarten Stekelenburg on a season-long loan as cover.
Forster is said to be in good spirits after doctors promised he should return to action without any major issues.
