Arsene Wenger has dismissed rumours linking Mesut Ozil with a move to Juventus.
He said: "The suggestions are created always by people who – I don’t know, want to create news, but there is nothing concrete in that.
"He’s an important player for our team and he’s a player of course we count on to continue our development and our success."
The Gunners have suffered a setback in their pursuit of Chile international Eduardo Vargas.
The former QPR loanee has reportedly been offered terms by a number of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.
However, Napoli's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli says a move to the United Arab Emirates or Spain is more likely.
He told El Mercurio: "We deal with many offers for Eduardo Vargas. The UAE offer is very good for the club, but we’re also handling an offer from Spain."

Arsenal also look set to miss out on Barcelona winger Pedro, according to reports.
The Daily Star claim The 27-year-old will make a £22million move to Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The report adds that the Spaniard is keen to link up with former Barca team-mate Cesc Fabregas at Stamford Bridge.
