Former Chelsea star heading to Leeds as Uwe Rosler eyes move for back-up goalkeeper
LEEDS UNITED have set their sights on Barnsley goalkeeper Ross Turnbull.
Ross Turnbull spent four years at Chelsea as Petr Cech's understudy
That is according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, who claim Leeds are in the market for a back-up keeper to compete with number one Marco Silvestri.
The Championship club have already secured the services of 20-year-old stopper Charlie Horton from Cardiff this summer, but he is viewed as a star for the future.
And Uwe Rosler, who was appointed as Elland Road boss in May, has set his sights on Tykes' 30-year-old stopper Turnbull.
The former England Under-19 international started his career at Middlesbrough before joining Chelsea in 2009, where he left after four years for Doncaster and now Barnsley.
