Arsenal and Chelsea get green light to sign Alexandre Lacazette after agent's revelation
ARSENAL and Chelsea have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Alexandre Lacazette.
Alexandre Lacazette Player Profile
The striker's agent David Venditelli has stated no attempt by Lyon to keep him will work.
And he has confirmed that his client has received a number of 'significant' offers from other teams.
He is quoted by The Telegraph as saying: "The offers we've had from abroad are very significant in terms of finances.
"Ultimatums and media pressure won't change our demands, which OL are aware of."
The frontman, who was Ligue 1's top goalscorer, will reportedly command a fee of around £21million.
Reports by Italian newspaper Correire della Sera confirmed the figure after suggesting Lyon had dropped their attempts to forcibly keep him at the club.
Alexandre Lacazette has a £21million price-tag
It was understood that the French side had hoped to deter potential suitors with a prohibitively high transfer fee of £36m.
However, after talks broke down over Lacazette's £4.5m wage demands, a revised lower figure of £21m was agreed upon to help push through a sale.
Lacazette made a name for himself last season scoring 31 goals in 40 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
