The plans are currently being shown at a public consultation for local residents over the next three days, with Chelsea looking to demolish the two hotels on the concourse while making Fulham Broadway tube station more accessible for fans on match-day.
According to the Daily Mail Online, Abramovich decided to remain at Stamford Bridge after exploring a number of London sites including Earls Court and Battersea Power Station.

The Russian owner has also handpicked a star team to build his masterpiece in order to replicate the ground as it was in 1939.
