Zenit HOLDING OUT for £32m offer from Man Utd or Chelsea for AC Milan target Axel Witsel
ZENIT SAINT PETERSBURG are holding out for £32million for Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel, according to reports.
Axel Witsel is wanted by AC Milan
It had been claimed that Witsel was on the verge of joining AC Milan.
While it was thought that it was the player's doubts that were holding up a move, reports in Russia suggest it is instead Zenit's demands.
Milan's current offer is said to be £20m with a series of bonus payments depending on performance.
And that is not thought to be enough for the Russian outfit to part with their prize asset.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with moves for Witsel in recent times.
And Zenit are thought to be holding out hope that one of the Premier League giants will come in with an offer to trump that from Milan.
At this stage, however, it is only Milan that have made formal contact with the club according to reports.
