Tottenham move for Roman Weidenfeller as replacement for Man Utd target Hugo Lloris
TOTTENHAM have reportedly entered the race for Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.

The German international is wanted by Valencia and Stuttgart and according to German newspaper Bild, Spurs have joined the chase.
Jurgen Klopp's departure at the end of last season is believed to have sparked Weidenfeller's decision to up sticks and leave Germany.
And Tottenham may see the 34-year-old as the perfect replacement for Hugo Lloris, who has been linked with Manchester United, should David De Gea compete his switch to Real Madrid.
Weidenfeller has a wealth of experience, making 339 league appearances for Dortmund, as well as proving himself in the Champions League and at international level with Germany.

But competition for his signature will be tough with Valencia eyeing him as a replacement for their No1 Diego Alves, who suffered a lengthy injury towards the end of the La Liga season.
And Stuttgart are also said to be in the market for an experienced goalkeeper having sold Sven Ulreich to Bayern Munich.
