CONFIRMED: Defender snubs Liverpool and Man Utd to complete shock move
FENERBAHCE have won the race to sign Lille defender Simon Kjaer.
Simon Kjaer has signed for Fenerbahce
The centre-back was linked with a move to the Premier League this summer after a number of impressive performances in Ligue 1.
Kjaer is a self-confessed Liverpool fan, and was tipped for an Anfield switch after apparently being targeted by Brendan Rodgers.
Manchester United were also rumoured to be interested, but Kjaer has snubbed the English duo by penning a deal with Fenerbahce.
It is believed that the Turkish giants have shelled out around £7million for his signature, and the Denmark international is now set to link up with the likes of playmaker Diego and ex-Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles.
