Chelsea try their luck with CHEEKY swap bid for Arsenal star
CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly made a cheeky offer to include Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a swap deal involving Petr Cech.
Petr Cech - Spotlight On
Cech is widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer and could fetch a fee of around £10million.
The Blues shot-stopper, who ceded the number gloves to Thibaut Courtois last term, is keen to stay in London as his family are settled there.
According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea have tried to test the waters by trying to snatch Oxlade-Chamberlain from the Emirates.
I would be lying if I said I didn't speak about it with Petr because it's no secret he wants to change clubs
However, Arsene Wenger is adamant that Oxlade-Chamberlain won't be going anywhere.
It is thought Wenger won't entertain the idea of a player-plus-cash deal and he views Oxlade-Chamberlain as central to his long-term plans.
Petr Cech is set to leave Chelsea this summer
Gunners star Tomas Rosicky admitted he has spoken to Cech about his future and believes he will receive a lot of offers this summer, telling Goal: "I would be lying if I said I didn't speak about it with Petr because it's no secret he wants to change clubs.
"He will have a lot of options to go to a good club."
