Man Utd eye £14m Atletico Madrid goalkeeper as David De Gea exit looms
MANCHESTER UNITED are eyeing a summer move for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as a replacement for David De Gea.
Manchester United set sights on Jan Oblak
De Gea has been offered a lucrative new deal - believed to be worth £150,000-a-week - to stay on at Old Trafford, with just a year remaining on his contract.
However, the 24-year-old is reportedly keen to take advantage of Real Madrid's interest in the summer and return to La Liga.
And according to reports in Spain, the Red Devils have lined up Atletico's Oblak as the Spaniard's successor.
The 22-year-old Slovakian arrived at Vicente Calderon Stadium last summer, costing £14million from Benfica, and his end-of-season run in the first-team has seemingly impressed United boss Louis van Gaal.
