Man United Transfer News: DEAL AGREED, Schneiderlin to SIGN, De Gea D-DAY, Sterling BLOW
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest transfer news from Old Trafford.
David De Gea - Spotlight On
Manchester United have agreed a fee for Hoffenheim striker Roberto Firmino.
The 23-year-old Brazil midfielder has been watched by United ahead of the Copa America, according to talkSPORT.
"Firmino has been consistently loyal to Hoffenheim, and he surprised a few people by agreeing a new deal last March. He feels the club has helped him develop as a player, but after Hoffenheim failed to qualify for Europe, it seems like the right time to move on," said talkSPORT's Bundesliga expert Kevin Hatchard.
"He's been on United's radar for a long time, and they'll have been impressed by his ability to have a positive impact on games week-in week-out.
"If United get him for the figures being quoted, they'll have pulled off a big coup."
David De Gea is set to join Real Madrid
David de Gea will sign for Real Madrid ahead of their pre-season tour to Australia on July 13, according to the Telegraph.
Rafa Benitez wants to have his squad in place for the training camp - although Madrid have yet to make a firm offer for the keeper.
They are expected to make a £20million bid next week, but United will hold out for closer to £30 or request a place in exchange.
Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema are on top of United's list.
Manchester City have made the first move for Raheem Sterling.
Last night City made a £25m offer for the Liverpool winger with £5m in add ons.
However the Reds rejected the bid.
