Liverpool's Martin Skrtel RULES OUT Man Utd move (despite 'unacceptable' contract offer)
LIVERPOOL defender Martin Skrtel has ruled out a move to Manchester United.
The Slovakian's future is uncertain after rejecting an 'unacceptable' new deal at Anfield.
The 30-year-old told Slovakian outlet Aktualne last week: "It's unacceptable for me. I think that such contracts are offered to players who are much older than me or players who have had some health problems.
I can imagine a transfer to anywhere but to United, never.
"The contract, which was presented to me, makes me uneasy, so I did not sign it.
"There has been some speculation about the interest of other clubs for my person, but they are currently being addressed."
Several Premier League sides are on the lookout for new defenders this summer, with Louis van Gaal's Manchester United among them.
Martin Skrtel won't join Manchester United
But Skrtel claims the Red Devils are the one side he could never join.
He said: "I can imagine a transfer to anywhere but to United, never."
