Lazio RULE OUT summer move for Man Utd striker Robin van Persie
LAZIO have ruled out a summer move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, insisting he is 'outside of their parameters'.

The Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to Lazio after he was spotted in Rome earlier this week.
Van Persie has a year left remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, having joined from Arsenal in the summer of 2012.

However, the Serie A outfit have moved quickly to squash the rumours, hinting at the fact he'd cost too much.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has told Lazio Style Radio: "On Van Persie, all I can say is that I respect him as a striker but unfortunately, he is outside our parameters.

"There has never been a meeting, this is gossip, not transfer news. We don't want to create illusions, this is not true."
The 31-year-old Netherlands captain has also attracted interest from Roma, Fenerbahce and Juventus as United look to offload the experienced striker.
