MEMPHIS DEPAY has revealed Manchester United were upset he played in PSV's final two matches of the season.

The 21-year-old clinched a £25million move to Old Trafford at the start of last month.

Speaking about his decision to play the last two games, Depay told Dutch paper De Telegraaf: "I wanted to play, but the club and Manchester United weren't happy with that.
“Because of injuries. I wanted to become top scorer and break the total points record with PSV. So I absolutely wanted to play.”

United fans will be able to catch a first glimpse of Depay when the Netherlands face the USA in a friendly on Friday evening.
Depay, who was voted the Eredivisie's Young Plater of the Year, hit 22 goals last term.
